I have far too many posts in the works, featuring Barack Obama (squee!!!), defining feminism (and including Sex and the City), and my usual “slice of life” b.s. – ranging from musicals that get stuck in my head to identity crises over coffee, tennis and lord knows what else.
So what do I give you this sticky Friday in Washington? Someecards. Because it’s kinda the best thing ever.
I realized this morning that I’m wearing jeans I’ve had for six years now.* I also realized that my ass looked better in them then because it filled them out more. With all the walking I’ve been doing over the last year, I think my ass has gotten a bit better toned which, ironically, means it doesn’t look as good in any of the jeans I own. Because I buy jeans to hug the curve of my ass. Because I like my giant ass.
Naturally, this extra bit of exercise doesn’t seem to have affected areas of my body that I would appreciate getting smaller, but whatever. I suppose it’s ultimately a good thing. And it’s about to come to an end for a while, since we’re supposed to hit 90 degrees here today and stay there for a while. Gross.
And really, how is it June already?
_______
*I can only date these jeans because I know I wore them when I went to visit Kevin in Massachusetts and he was overwhelmed by their cuteness. That was the same time I bought my “Democrat shoes,” which probably warrant their own post. The list goes on…

Time is flying, it seems… and here’s something. Exactly 10 years ago today, I graduated from high school. :\
What. The. Fuck.
