It’s the immortal blogger whine: I have too much to write and too little time. Regardless, I have so many posts languishing as drafts; it’s a tich annoying and is bad for my psyche. In the interest of getting something written to completion (if not satisfaction), I’m putting it to you, m’lovelies: What would you like to read?
Would you enjoy…
my feminism is better than your feminism – An examination of the many interpretations of feminism, through the prism of this Democratic nomination process that will not end. Also known as, I’m tired of people making me feel guilty because I don’t like Hillary Clinton. She needs to sit down and shut up. How many feminist feathers can I ruffle?
fangirl – A potentially much more light-hearted post about luuuuving people in the public eye more than the average fan. I say “potentially” because I’m having to work not to dive into deep-seated Daddy issues. Less of the older fandoms, more of the newer ones. Less old. More new. Yes, it still all comes back to Craig Ferguson but at the moment I Heart Jason Schwartzman more. (I know that’s a pathetic line. Whatever. I luuuuuuuuuv him.) Please note: Daddy issues do not relate Craig. Ew.
that’s so gay – yay! - Ramblings on (inter)cultural concepts of touch and gender dynamics. Featuring: homophobia, sexism, breaking down stereotypes, Muslim boys, reserving judgment and all sorts of haggish behavior.
children, behave - More thoughts on politics, the presidential election, foreign policy and Obama v. McCain. We might let Mrs. Clinton play if I’m feeling exceptionally generous. Draws comparisons between the U.S. government and bratty kids. Alas, not so much of a stretch.
it tastes like listerine - A (hopefully) amusing account of my failed attempts to bathe. I think we’ll just leave the description at that.
That’s five options for you, my darlings, and oh, could I go on. Do feel free to weigh in and let me know if I should prioritize something for you.
